After several weeks of successful Alpha testing following the recent launch of PHP5, the ionCube PHP5 Loader is now released into Beta test to existing customers. This Loader seamlessly and transparently performs the complex code transformations required to execute encoded compiled code on a PHP5 system of scripts that were written in the PHP4 language.

The Beta release is currently only available for Linux, and for executing scripts encoded by the standalone Encoder version 3 family. In common with all release level Loaders, the final release will handle all ionCube encoded file formats, and be available on a variety of platforms.

If you are not currently a customer and require the Loader for PHP5 on Linux, please feel free to download it. As this is Beta release, we welcome you to report back if you have success or any problems.
